The Begining of The Week

I had totaly forgot about the blogs so now I'm working on them, not good. In the begining of the week we learned about some new things we learned the for and next, last week we learned the do and loop, for and next is sort of the same idea just it doesn't continue forever.

Later in the week we learned about combo boxes, which allow us to make choices for anyone using our program, not that anyone does, but you click on the little arrow and some choices appear in a little box, a combo box.

Auto Bio

Today we have a supply so we are forced to work on our auto biographies my background will feature a favoured hobbie of mine which is gaming. My background will feature a picture of the console and a controller. The controller's buttons will change through the pictures and words will appear on the textbox which is a t.v. screeen.

The only problem I have with this is the fact that I don't know how to change the shape of the command button. I'm going to have to find out how or find a new background

Graphic Techinques

Today in class we learned about pixels and the location of an object, we also learned how to make boxes and circles with the pixels and how to colour them in. We will be working o a assignment for the week so our teacher showed us how to puta background on our forms.

Tomorrow i plan on working on my assignment I've deleted my pictures so now I have to scan some at home, also for today I will work on getting a background.

Process Of Visual Basic

One week from March Break we learned a new program called Visual Basic. In this prgramyou learn how to program applications on a computer and create small interactive visual presentation. We have learned a few things: for example, we learned how to create labels, text boxes and many other things that I cannot remember at the moment.
So far we have done two assignments, a weather one and a circle colour and scaling assignment. I hope we will soon be getting to the creating interactive games, I can't wait

After the test..... or was it a quiz???..

After the Test/Quiz me and 4 of the other people in the class (there were only 6 due to a sports game [hockey... boo]) decided to just fool around onlineand play some games... until someone said that we should play some childish game call Run Escape ( or something like that) frankly ive never played it so I wanted to fit i sosaid sueewhat the heck....

Tuurned out to be o f the funniesstngsieedonn on t computer ((game wise) I was some guy runing aroound with tights and a sword.. making people evoporate in thin air ( when you kill someone ) it was really weird and I do not plan on playing it ever again.... until the next time I'm bored in class and i have nothing better to do... making people evaporate is kind of fun.

Today's Test/Quiz

Today we had a test/quiz, I don't remember what it was only that it was veryeasy... all y had to do was sit beside someone who knew all the answers and you were set... no I'm only fooling.. if you paid attention in class the quiz/test was really simple...

the onlyything that really got me worried was the creating the little project for the test/quiz.... which was simply really, all you had to do was make the button, then name it... then make a text box then name it, after double click the button and program it to say whatever in the text box... peice of cake right?

Day After

on the day after March Break, our family assignments were due.... although i had finished my assignment before the march break I was still abit frustrated by the fact that my buttons weren't working properly... I tried and tried, even got some friend to try to see if they could get it but nothing.... the button was useless.... now after it is all marked I wonder, should i have deleted the button and started again?...

Later on I had to convince myself that this was nonsence and just leave it as it is... the chance is that i probably would have messed the entire assignment up if I had tried to repair the damage that the button was under... ohh well I guess beggars can't be choosers

Family Assignment

One day before the March Break... I worried if I'd ever finish my assignment... the Action scripts weren't working, my page wouldn't, the button was messed up... thankfully the teacher could not fix it either... so he didn't take marks off... thats the great thing about being in Mr. Charelli's computer class he atleast gives you a chance and trys to help you where you do not succeed.

My assignment delt with pictures of my family at my other relitives weddiings... I could not ind anything else... (my family's camera shy) but besides that it was a really entertaining assignment and I hope we will begin to proceed into more challenging stuff in the future

2nd Day of My Life

Today is the second day that I have been in my new computers class.... though it is confusing I will try to strive for succsess.... I was given my new class on the fact that in the future i wish to join the high ranks of professional video game developers... i wish to create something so great, that people will be on there knees..... so anyways today was prety hard i had to do a test which i did bad on... then again 2nd day of this class....


i just hope i go uphill from here on and not the other way around
